Broken tree
On June 5th, 2026, team member and founder Nathan Kniefel returned to the area where NMBO started, looking for signs of Bigfoot activity. The most interesting find was a small tree snapped in half. None of the foliage around the damaged tree showed signs of storm damage.
It is commonly believed that Bigfoot will break trees and branches to communicate borders for pathways or territory. This very well could be evidence that a Bigfoot still resides in the area.
This area has become dense with foliage. It's home to a basecamp built by Nathan back in 2019/2020, but has now been destroyed either by natural causes or something that is not pleased with human presence.
